There is something exciting about mastering a new skill. Whether it is for work, personal development, or simply for fun, every new challenge starts with that slightly awkward beginner stage where nothing quite goes to plan ... Mastering a new skill takes time and dedication, but every expert knows that starting as a beginner is the first step That certainly described my latest stand-up paddle boarding adventure. It was only my third or fourth time on the board and, to make matters worse, I managed to fasten my life jacket incorrectly before I even got on the water. With a strong wind pushing me around, it wasn't long before I found myself taking an unexpected dip.
