Whether you think you can, or think you can't, you're right!

Those famous words are often attributed to Henry Ford, and while they are simple, they carry a powerful truth. The stories we tell ourselves about what is possible have a huge influence over the lives we end up living. If you constantly focus on barriers, you will find barriers everywhere. If you focus on opportunities, you start noticing doors that were there all along ...

Whether you think you can, or think you can't, you have the power to prove yourself right or wrong

Whether you think you can, or think you can't, you have the power to prove yourself right or wrong

For me, life has never been about chasing success for its own sake. It has been about creating a life that gives me choices. I wanted more flexibility, more freedom, and more time to spend doing the things that matter most. That meant looking beyond the traditional reliance on a single income source.

Instead, I'm building a lifestyle that
supports the life I want to live!

One of my income streams comes from working alongside a major UK provider of energy, broadband, mobile and insurance services, helping people make smarter choices about services they already use every day.

Recently, I spent a day with some of my business friends at their national headquarters. One comment from the day perfectly captured the spirit of what we do: "Ordinary people taking simple steps to achieve extraordinary things and enjoying the journey together." I love that because it strips away the myth that success belongs only to a select few.

Alongside that, I have developed other opportunities that give me additional flexibility and allow me to continue growing both personally and professionally. None of it happened overnight, but every small step added up over time.

The real reward is not just financial. It is the freedom that comes with having options. It is being able to spend time at my caravan in beautiful Bude, Cornwall, exploring the coastline, discovering new places, and enjoying the sense of adventure that comes from working around life rather than living around work.

Most importantly, for me, it is about family!

One of the greatest joys in my life right now is spending time with my family and watching my new granddaughter grow. Those moments are priceless. I'm putting together a new project called 'Adventures With Nana D' to hopefully inspire her as she grows up, and prove that being a grandma really doesn't have to hold you back.

This is all a reminder that success is not measured solely by income or achievements, but by the experiences we create and the people we share them with.

The truth is that the life you want is often built one decision at a time. The moment you start believing something is possible, you begin acting differently. You notice opportunities. You take action. You grow in confidence. Whether you think you can or think you can't, you're right.

The question is, which belief is helping you build the life you truly want to live?

Until next time ...

About Davina Farrer ...

Davina Farrer

I’ve always believed life is too short to sit still and wait for “someday.” From travelling the world in my twenties to taking on challenges like long-distance coastal walks, I’ve built a life around adventure, freedom, and making the most of every opportunity that comes my way.

After becoming a mum, I wanted a way to be present for my family while still creating an income and future for myself. That led me to build a flexible, residual income business that fits around real life - not the other way round. Today, I help others do the same, showing them how to reduce their bills and create more choice with their time.

For me, it’s not just about money - it’s about freedom. Freedom to travel, take on new challenges, and be there for the moments that matter most. If you’re looking for a way to create more flexibility, more income, and more life in your days, you’re in the right place.
