I know bills are not exactly the most exciting topic in the world. Nobody wakes up in the morning eager to discuss gas, electricity, home insurance or broadband. Yet these everyday expenses have a much greater impact on our lives than most people realise ... Boring bills may seem mundane, but by reducing them - and helping others to do the same - I am able to maintain my freedom This week, the government announced another increase to the energy price cap from 1st July. For the average household, that could mean around £18 extra per month, with gas costs rising far more sharply than electricity costs.
